Every time I photograph a Corps of Cadets student I learn something new. At Mareck’s senior session I learned about the Freshman Drill Team, that they are nationally famous and all freshman rifle team! We were about to see them practicing whenever we were heading to the Arches.
Aggie Park is a new favorite among aggie grads. How can it not? Beautiful pond, nice view of Kyle Feild, and there’s even an ice cream shop, The Moore Family Creamery! Before we got started 2 ducks walked up to watch the shoot. We tried to get them into a photo or two, but they were just interested in the behind the scenes.
The Corps Arches are a fan favorite for Corps of Cadets since these arches serve as the entrance to the Corps dorms.
I’m pretty sure this is THE MOST common place for senior photos on campus. I will admit, photos here are beautiful and well lit with the beautiful white columns. If you are wanting this location for your senior photos I would suggest scheduling your photos before April & May. Since these months are closest to graduation there is a line that starts to form and a wait time that could be up to 2 hours. Luckily for us, we had all the columns alllllllll to ourself! I definitely love the photos of Mareck with his girlfriend, he absolutely lit up whenever she joined him. Photos with this background made for some stunning portraits of Mareck in his Corps of Cadets uniform.
