One of the first things I do when planning a senior session is send the senior my “senior questionnaire” to get more information on their vision for their session. Keeley mentioned she really would love to do her photos in a forest, but there were none in College Station. I filled her in with a few options and we decided to go on a little road trip to Sam Houston National Forrest. Guys I cannot recommend a mini road trip ENOUGH because these turned out fantastic!!! While College Station has plenty of beautiful places for senior photos, this was completely different!

Keeley brought along her mom, dad, and sister. This meant we could grab a few photos of the family!! I know how hard (and stressful) getting everyone together for family pictures can be, so I like to give this as an option for seniors if they’d like. I had worked with Keeley before this session, and she thrives with her sister. They both enjoy each other’s company and will be a little extra silly.
Keeley really enjoys gardening and wanted to go for photos that had a down-to-earth granola vibe. I think we achieved that!!!!
My ABSOLUTE favorite part of the session was at the very end. Keeley looks at me and says, “I’ve got a weird request…” then pretends to use a pine cone as a cell phone. No idea if there’s a secret reference or joke there, but I LOVED it!!! We both laughed and wrapped the day off on a high note.
