Grace & Kyle || Wedding Venue: P.A. Smith Hotel

As a wedding photographer, I’ve seen many couples choose a farmhouse wedding venue with white walls, but Grace and Kyle broke the mold! Their wedding at the P.A. Smith Hotel was stunning, featuring native Texas pecan wood, original stone walls, and elegant chandeliers.

The day began in College Station, where Grace and Kyle got ready separately. They met up for a first look at Texas A&M—the same spot where Kyle had proposed. This sweet moment was followed by portraits and quiet time for just the two of them before heading to their wedding venue in Navasota.

One of the best things about wedding venues in downtown Navasota is their proximity to College Station. The P.S. Smith Hotel is just 20 minutes away, making it super convenient for couples and guests alike. With most venues located near downtown, there are plenty of nearby accommodations, too!

Grace and Kyle’s ceremony was held at a beautiful Methodist church just blocks from the reception. Surrounded by their closest friends and family, they exchanged vows in an intimate and heartfelt setting. After family photos in the church, everyone headed to the hotel for the celebration.

The reception was as unique as the couple! One of my favorite moments was seeing Grace and Kyle headbanging with their friends to their favorite songs. The energy in the room was unmatched, and it was clear their loved ones were just as excited as they were to celebrate their marriage.

Their wedding reminded me how humbling it is to have a strong support system of family and friends who make the day flow seamlessly from the finishing touches at the wedding venue, the bridesmaid making a scrap book, to Grace having an heirloom ring. Grace and Kyle’s decision to go against trends and make their wedding uniquely theirs was the perfect reflection of their love story.
