When you should book for senior photos?

I would say 3 months out from graduation is a good time if you aren’t set on a specific season or month. This time frame is perfect so then everyone isn’t in a crazy rush, there’s more free time if weather is bad, and there’s less people taking photos in the same spot.

It gets really busy with last minute bookings 1-2 months before graduation. If you have your heart set on one of the super popular spots (like the Administration building on TAMU main campus) then expect to wait and have lots of people around… DO NOT WAIT to book graduation photos since there might not be spots available. It’s also great to get them don’t further out. Early isn’t bad!

What to think about when choosing a date:

Think about what outfits you want to wear and feel most confident in. If you prefer flannels, jeans, and hats, then booking during the fall would be best. If you like colorful florals and light, flowy clothes, then the spring or summer would be best. Sometimes it’s not about outfits, but about schedules and work loads. If you have a packed schedule for the spring semester, then scheduling photos in the fall could be the best use of time.
