As the new year rolls in, I’ve revamped my senior photography packages to be more streamlined and intentional, and that includes a printed 8×8 Senior Book for every senior session. This Senior Book is an auto-printed keepsake, meaning there’s no design approval or extra steps required from families. Every San Antonio senior walks away with something tangible from their session, not just digital files living in our camera roll or hard drive.

The book is simple, clean, and thoughtfully designed to showcase your favorite images in a way that feels approachable and fun. It’s a printed senior product that every graduate can have without doing any additional work.
One of my favorite ways families use the Senior Book is as a graduation party signature book. Set it out during the celebration and let friends and family write notes, advice, and well wishes directly alongside your photos. The matte pages allow ink to dry cleanly, so signatures won’t smudge the way they can on glossy paper. Over time, it becomes an incredibly meaningful keepsake from senior year. I typically design 1 or 2 spreads with extra white space incase the intention is for it to be used as a signature book, but there is also a solid spread of white pages at the front and back of the book.
This book has minimal customization on the client side by design. Seniors simply choose their cover color, and I take care of the rest. I design the book using your favorited images from the online gallery, and within one to two weeks, the book is ordered and delivered to its forever home.

For seniors and parents who want more customization, such as approving layouts or upgrading cover options, there is an alternative option. During the planning phase, families may choose a $120 print credit instead, which can be applied toward a fully customized Signature Senior Album. This choice is made during the questionnaire stage so ordering stays streamlined after the session.

Could I still approve the design before printing?
Yes. While the Senior Book is designed to be an auto-printed keepsake, I’m always happy to share the final design before printing if that’s important to you. In most cases, I design the book using your favorited images from the gallery, so changes usually aren’t needed. If you’re looking for a more hands-on design experience with deeper customization, I’d recommend upgrading to or adding on the Signature Senior Album, which allows for full design approval and customization.
I don’t like matte pages. Can I change them to glossy?
The Senior Book is only offered with matte pages. Matte paper works best for signature books and everyday handling because it reduces glare and prevents ink from smudging. If you prefer classic glossy pages, the Signature Senior Album is the best fit.
Can I remove the Senior Book from my session and receive a discounted cost instead?
The Senior Book cannot be removed for a discount. However, during the planning phase you may choose to apply its value toward a print credit instead. I strongly believe in printing images whenever possible, as digital files can easily be lost, corrupted, or forgotten over time.
Can I add my name to the front of the book?
Yes. A standard foil stamp with your name, school, and class year can be added to the lower center or lower right of the cover for a polished, finished look.
