Let’s talk about FOUR ways you can feel more confident in front the camera. There are a whole bunch of different ways to do it, but I want to specifically focus on what YOU have the ability to do to improve your confidence and feel good the next time you’re in front of the camera.
This is so important because if you don’t love what you’re wearing (or feel uncomfortable in it) it will show. I am not saying you need to get a completely new outfit, but you need to be sure that the clothes that you wear fit your body. When choosing your outfit you should always pass these questions… Do I love this outfit? Does it flatter me? Can I breathe in it? As always talk to your photographer if you need some outfit ideas or inspiration!
If you are tired and exhausted it will show… Get some extra sleep the night before (maybe that full week leading up to your shoot even) to avoid baggy eyes and exhaustion.
Giving your body the hydration it needs will mean that your skin will look fantastic, you will feel better, and basically help with everything in #2 too!
Give yourself all the love leading up to your shoot! Tell yourself you’re gorgeous, beautiful, handsome, a total beast, etc. Even if you don’t feel that way. Start with something small or that you do believe and build up! This also does not have to only focus on appearances! For example, I am intelligent. I am a fantastic cook. I am accomplished. Confidence in yourself as a whole will boost your self esteem in front of the camera. *LAUGHING PHOTO*
That is all for now. See ya soon!
